Sports Day Arrangements 9th July

We have decided that the measures in our risk assessment allow for parents/ carers to attend and spectate but we must make it clear that all attending are expected to follow the rules closely:
-Enter/ exit down the side lane onto the field, distancing and wearing a face mask
-Use our hand gel upon entering the field
-Stay within the cordoned off spectating area
-If possible take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before attending and only attend if you have a negative result. No proof of this will be required.
-Stay away if you have symptoms of COVID19.
-Spectators will be seated distanced in family/ bubble groups of no more than 30 in a House Area. Spectators will be in house groups so please ensure you know which house your children are in!
-Unfortunately, children will be sitting in class groups so views will be a bit more limited than usual.
-You may remove your mask once seated.
-Stay within the spectating area in your seat until it is time to leave.
-Please do not enter the running track or the children's area or get out of your seat to sit with other families.
-Please do not take photos during the event as there are some children who cannot have this.
Please ensure you and your children wear sunhats, sun creams and bring water to drink as it is likely to be very hot!
We really thank you for your cooperation in this. Many schools are not having parents spectating both locally and nationally but we decided that with these measures, given the size of our school and the size of the field, and the fact everyone has respected the rules throughout the pandemic, that we are able to manage this. We hope you have an enjoyable time! Any questions, please ask.
