This Wednesday was our Harvest Festival at the church. Despite our technical hitches in alerting parents about it, we managed to muster up a good haul of donations for the local Food Bank. The service featured the newly-recruited Collective Worship crew who was leading the service and Mr Chetland's new array of uplifting music.
Classes did Harvest songs, poems, and readings and we had Rev Smith and former governor Tim Kaye giving short addresses on the meaning of Harvest and about where the food donations were going.
Parents seemed to enjoy taking part and liked the new uplifting energy of the music.
Long may it continue!
